i know that we've spent a lot of holidays together… but this one is special and so, so much different than the others. this is the first christmas that we're spending together as a couple, and the first that i don't have to worry about whether or not the gift i got for you is 'appropriate' as a friend ( hence why you normally ended up with scarves ). i know it's not much, but it's not everything i've got planned for you either.. just some smaller things that took some thought to pick out.

so when i saw this hat, i immediately thought of koalas… and since you're my koala, i figured it would be cute. plus, this new york cold sucks…
